WHY:
My favourite moments are when my fella comes up to me and says, "Hey you should make a this or a that." That is how this one started. He wanted me to make a Sputnik. Which I did. And that got me to thinking about outer space and flying objects.
With the UFO it just made a lot of sense for me to make it. I like it when I can take the shapes and techniques that occur commonly in jewellery-making and put it all together to make something fun.
