HOW:
Individually hand-crafted cherry and leaf pendant in silver and brass
The cherry is approximately 5mm, 16mm including the twig
On 60cm sterling silver chain
WHY:
i enjoy casting little brass nuggets, i keep the texture and each one comes out a little different. it seemed only natural to add a silver twig to the nugget to turn it into a cherry. the little silver leaf on its own twig completes the effect
when i'm casting the little ball nuggets there is always a smooth side and more textured side. while on some pieces i champion the natural process effects, for these pieces, i put the smooth side to the front and the organic side at the back.
